Victor Moses

Chelsea fans have expressed their displeasure with Victor Moses loan move to West Ham after the player’s outstanding performance on in his debut against Newcastle.

The Chelsea winger was sent out on loan to the Hammers in the summer transfer window and played a starring role in their 2-0 win over Newcastle at Upton Park tonight.

Moses was a constant threat and muscled his way through the visiting defence before hitting a shot against the bar that was converted by Dimitri Payet from the rebound.

The 28-year-old is starting his third loan spell since moving to Stamford Bridge from Wigan in 2012. And Chelsea fans, whose mood has been further dampened by their terrible start to the current Premier League season, are not happy.

Ironically, it was only West Ham's win that prevented Jose Mourinho's side from dropping into the bottom three.Moses says he wants more after a superb display on his debut for West ham last night. And the Nigerian tweeted this morning his desire to carry the squad's good mood into West Ham's next clash, against league leaders Manchester City.

"Great to make my debut for West Ham last night! The team were brilliant now let's move on to the next game," he wrote. His tweet came the morning after he spoke about his performance. "I thought all the lads did really well out there," Moses said last night. "We knew what to expect, the manager said ‘Go out and express yourself, make sure you enjoy the game'.

"I thought we worked hard together as a team, we deserved the game and we dominated really. We created a lot of chances really."Chelsea fans last night were left divided over the decision to loan Moses, 24, to the Upton Park club.

The defending Premier League champions have lost three of their five matches this season, while they have 33 players out on loan."Definitely agree with those of you who say the Moses situation was handled very poorly by the club this summer," one fan tweeted.

While another posted: "Victor Moses has the kind of pace, strength and intent that a club like, say, Chelsea could do with right now."
