Chief (Mrs) Hannah Idowu Dideolu (HID) Awolowo, wife of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo is dead. She was 99 years. The matriarch of the Awolowo family, would have been 100 years on November 25 this year.

HID Awoolowo died in her country home, Ikene, Ogun State shortly after she had meetings with some members of her family on the planning for her coming 100th birthday.
