Breaking: Falae freed without ransom

Chief Olu Falae
Abducted Afenifere Chieftain and former Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) Chief Olu Falae, has been freed by his abductors.
Investigation revealed that no ransom was paid to the abductors and that the former NADECO member had since been taken to his country home Akure, Ondo State.
Chief Olu Falae was kidnapped on his farm at Ilado Village in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State on Monday by Fulani herdsmen.
The abductors had requested for a ransom of N100 million, which was later reduced to N90 million. Following his abduction, Preident Mohammadu Buhari summoned the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase to secure the freedom of the elder statesman.
