Wizkid, Olamide and Praiz have been nominated for the 2015 edition of Nigeria's biggest and most prestigious annual music awards.

According to the twitter handle of headies nominations, Olamide is top on the table this year with eight nods including – Best Pop single, Rap Album, Best Collaboration (twice), Best Street-Hop Artiste, Album of the Year, Artiste of the Year, and Song of the Year.

Following closely is Wizkid, who has seven nominations in Recording of the Year, Best RnB/Pop Album, Best Pop Single, Best Collabo, Album of the Year, Artiste of the year, and Song of the Year.

Contending for one of the biggest awards of the night – Artiste of the year are Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, and P-Square.

The highly prized Next Rated category will see Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello, Cynthia Morgan and Lil’ Kesh slug it out. Other new nominees at the Headies are Falz The Bahd Guy, Mr. 2Kay, Small Doctor, Ugovinna, Di’Ja, Shaydee, Simi and Aramide.

The Hall of Fame Award which has celebrated industry heavy weights like Obi Asika, Kenny Ogungbe and D1, Philip Trimnell, Grand Master Lee, FAJ, and a host of others shall be inducting Pop super star, Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia. Other nominees include PSquare, Korede Bello, Bez, Timi Dakolo, Asa, Reminisce, Mr 2Kay, Seyi Shay, Cynthia Morgan among many others This year's nomination is based on the period in review, July 2014 and June 2015.
