Ministerial screening begins at the senate chamber with former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi answering questions about his government. He took time to speak on what the government should do about its foreign policy.

To him, there is need for the country to balance its relationship with world power like Germany, USA, Britain, China while also extending it to its neighbouring countries in Africa.

He spoke on decentralisation of power, saying in as much as the APC would work towards decentrallising powers, it would first deal with corruption at the local government level.

Decentralisation without tackling corruption might be efforts in futility. He said that the current adminiatrtion would come up with internal mechanism to address terrosrism and other criminal vices in the country.
