Actor Segun Arinze Punctures Social Media as Cause of Broken Marriages

According to many, broken marriages in the Western world could be termed as "normal" but the fact that this act is gradually finding its way into African homes calls for concern. One of the most talked about issue in the movie industry world over is broken marriages.

Overtime, movie lovers in Nigeria have seen the rise and fall of the marriages of some of their favorite Celebrities. With many unanswered questions as to what leads to the break-ups of our screen stars, popular Nollywood actor Segun Arinze has pinned this act to the emergence of the social media. Speaking on the effect of social media in Marriages, he advised that couples should try and keep their homes from the ever prying public eye. Arinze however stressed the need for his colleagues in the industry to go back to the values that bound the homes of their parents in order to save their marriages. Here are some marriages gone sour in Nollywood; Monalisa Chinda & Dejo Richards which according to her was due to domestic violence and abuse. Others are; Stephanie Okereke's marriage to Chikelue Iloanus, Mbong & Jeta Amata, Eucharia Anunobi & Mr. Ekwu just to name a few.
